md13ffhguy Report post Posted May 14, 2014 A friend of mine, with a different, recent model car, had been complaining of the lagging performance of his built-in nav system. He decided to try copying the OEM SD card to a higher class card - theoretically allowing for faster data transfer. He claims he's noticed an improvement with map load times and transitions between navigation displays. Anybody here try this? I might give it a shot this weekend. acdii Report post Posted May 14, 2014 Well I do have a spare A4 I can mess with. I have a few SD cards for my camera that I could try it on.
Sleddog Report post Posted May 14, 2014 I bet the card has a copy encryption. Most do. This prevents illegal copies being made. Otherwise one person could buy card and sell a boat load of copies.
