So here's the story about my new Fusion Hybrid

I just wanted to say hello to everyone. Hopefully I can contribute to the forum.

 

I just bought a 2014 Fusion Hybrid in Dark Side to replace my beloved 2013 Fusion Tuxedo Black Metallic that got totaled just a few months after I got it.

 

Luckily my 2013 kept me safe in a crash that even the insurance guy isn't sure how I made it through.

 

So this time I got a Hybrid, which I wanted anyway when I got the 2013, because I had to stick with Fusion after it kept me safe.

 

I had some serious injuries and I am just dipping a toe back into driving, ( I am a bit gunshy, which I hope will fade) but I wanted to say hello.

You mentioned that you upgraded on the Hybrid.

Any other upgraded changes? 2nd chances to buy a car are rare.

Definitely ! I am a bit strange in that regard, I absolutely love racing, have since I was a kid, but I got interested in the hybrids a couple of years ago. I had a used Camry hybrid for a couple of years and liked the mileage but it was such a dull car compared to this Fusion !

I got the package with the leather heated seats, I had cloth on my Fusion. I also upgraded to the front and rear parking sensors / camera , and it also has the parking assist , which is cool, but I don't know how often I will actually use it.

 

I wanted the spoiler but then I didn't get it, because I wanted enough differences between the two. I like the spoilers though.
