machoman1337 Report post Posted December 22, 2015 I don't have any rattles but my trunk does creak when I open it which you guys are implying is connected. Is there a TSB for this?
murphy Report post Posted December 22, 2015 I don't have any rattles but my trunk does creak when I open it which you guys are implying is connected. Is there a TSB for this? Verify that the rubber sleeve that is on the torsion bars is centered so the bars can't touch each other or the underside of the package shelf.
forace2015 Report post Posted January 23, 2018 I have a 2015 FFH with 25000+ miles on it. Love the car but it sounds like I have run over a stick or limb with leaves on it and it is fluttering as I drive. I have put it on a lift and touched everything I can see but I cannot find the sound or where it is coming from; very annoying. All of the underneath covers, covering the frame and electrical wireing are paper feeling and have a lot of movement with them. some I have taken a nut and washer and put on the bolts that they cover and pulled it up some but even that does not help.Any Ideas??? PLease?

Francis Beling Report post Posted April 20, 2021 Have a 2014 fusion hybrid with 45,000 miles. It’s definitely a clunker!! I have replaced all shocks and it clunks as if the whole car is about to fall into pieces. It’s Parked inside my garage and taken care of. I will never buy another Ford. Ray420 Report post Posted August 14, 2022 Mine was a bass regulator and amp for the stereo rattling I just happened to hit the trunk liner in right spot one day and finally heard the same noise it made on bumps I peeled the trunk liner back and made sure both were secure and it stopped I really thought it was something under the car the way it sounded
