20,000 Miles in 300 days

While in FL I grossed over the 20,000 mile mark in around 300 days of driving.

 

Now you might question my calculus skills but even if I took delivery almost 13 month ago she was waiting for me 2.5 month while I was on R&D assignment overseas. So it's roughly 300 days +/- 5 that I had the joy to drive my RR FFH.

 

It's just another mile stone but it's a really great one. I (we) have enjoyed every single mile and especially on longe road trips. (Commutes are just there to be able to pay for such an awesome car)

 

I could write down all the stats from my Gas Gubby app but that's not the point. The point is that all 20,000 miles have been traveled in the most efficient, comfortable, safest way I (we) would expect from a car in this class.

 

Mile 20,000 was an EV mile just the way I like it nice and quite.

I'm 29 days away from 1 year on the MKZh and I have 8,200 on it.

Ditto the comfy, quiet ride and gasoline saved from my previous vehicle.

I have a 6,000 mile trip coming up and looking forward to it.

When the kids are out of school, it goes up 100 miles a week to 500, I think only putting 400 a week on now. If my math is correct, should hit 27K by June 4th, which is the 1 year mark.

26,500 miles in a little over a year for me. It's a bit more than I had expected but not by much. The fuel savings are huge at a lifetime 46 MPG.

Not as many miles on it as I first thought, just rolled past 20700 this morning. I got it mixed up with the MKT which has 20800 on it from my Toledo trip. Now that the temps are a bit warmer, its sticking to the 40+ range all the time. Just missed hitting EPA last night, 46.4. I wonder what it could do if I really tried and didn't have some jerk in a jeep trying to run me off the road.

Well since we made it back I have caught up and surpassed acdii again ;) not that this matters in any way it just means that we have completed another cool road trip.
