Ford Increases Virtual Crash Computing Power, Helping to Ensure Customer Safety

Ford is increasing its investment in computing power by 50 percent to maximize the number and speed of virtual vehicle crashes, allowing safety engineering and vehicle evaluation teams to get more data, more quickly.

Considering I experienced first hand what a Crash is like in a Ford, they are doing a damned good job making the cars safe.

Seeing what I see on the Interstate at accident scenes, you are absolutely correct.

 

There was a big change around 2004 with the F-150 and they have done a fantastic job implementing it in all their vehicles.
