The Saabs just blew air from the cabin through the seat cushions on both the base of the seat and the lower back.

They finally updated the Ford website, the heated/cooled seats and the heated steering wheel now show up when you build and price your own.

Does anyone have any idea what the difference between the 2014 regular hybrid titanium leather sport seats and the leather sport performance seats are? I chatted online with a Ford rep and he was saying that the sport performance seats, which are what is offered with the heated/cooled seat option, has more of a bucket and slope to the seat. Does anyone that already has one of these seats have a photo of it? The Ford rep told me there are no photos online of the seats. Again, Ford is dropping the ball when it comes to the website. I'm wondering if these sport performance seats would be extremely uncomfortable. The regular titanium seats are already pretty hard so does this mean the sport performance seats would be like sitting on a park bench?

With the updated site, building an SE the way I would want it: $35,500. Titanium: $36,600. Titanium Energi: $36,500.

The SE would definitely be crossed off my list. For the first time I would probably give up the trunk space to get the Energi.

I'm a bit confused on what's the difference between "sport leather" and "titanium leather". If I want to add cooled seats, it removes the titanium leather (on the titanium car) and adds "sport leather"...

I'm right there with you. I'm trying to figure this out as well.

Does anyone have the heated/cooled seats on here?

I have the heated/cooled seats, but I couldn't tell you the difference between them and the regular Ti seats. I find them to be well bolstered and firm. Very nice so far. I never spent any amout of time in a SE so I don't have a good compairson.

Toz, have you seen the regular Fusion Titanium seats? If so, would you say they are similar to the regular Titanium seats in appearance? The only worry I have is that they will be too firm. The regular titanium seats are pretty firm but I'm ok with them. Any firmer though and I'd be worried.

When I do the same thing, pricing out a 2014 with all the options we have now on the white FFH, minus premium paint, navigation & premium wheels, and then I add PBS to the SEs I get a new FFH SE for $35,990, a new HyTi for $37,975 ($2k extra for cooled seats, Sony radio & Ti tail lights) and $40,660 ($36,653 after the $4007 tax credit) for an Energi SE. With the big price drop for the Fusion Energi I expect more will start selling.

 

That makes me all the more happy that we got another 2013 SE because while we don't have PBS, we only paid $31,600 for our loaded SE which has navigation, premium paint and premium wheels. A 2014 would have been just too expensive!!

We took our test drive in a regular 13 2.0 Ti. But it was so long ago that I don't remember any difference.

I'm not positive, but if I remember correctly the leather in the cooled seats is perforated while the headed seats are not.

That is correct, the cooling is mostly accomplished by blowing air up your back side. In some cars, this is all it does, others have a mini AC unit under there. In either case, there are air channels in the seat for the air to flow through. The cushion may be a bit firmer to make up for the removal of material needed for air flow, but that is just speculation without actually sitting in one.

So far, for me, very nicely padded. The longest trip I have taken so far has only been a couple of hours long, but I was quite comfortable with no numb butt.

Update: I used another browser (Google Chrome) and it seems to be showing up. I guess my initial browser (Firefox) had the old information cached?

 

I was just on the Ford website "building and pricing" and I noticed the heated and cooled seats and heated steering wheel aren't on the site anymore. What gives Ford? I'm assuming it's just an error with the website since some people on here already have the heated and cooled seats on their 2014 Fusion Hybrid.

i am ordering a 2015 FFET and I'm also trying to figure out what exactly the differences are with the "leather sport performance seats"....dealers dont seem to know....i am a big guy and i also find the standard leather seats in the FFET to be very firm and not too comfortable..."sport" usally doesn't mean comfort but wish ford would explain....is the seat the same except for the look and trim or is it a different , potentially firmer seat? anyone know?

I had a 2013 FFH titanium with heated seats. They were very uncomfortable to me on my rear end. I got a 2014 FFH titanium with heated/cooled seats and they are far more comfortable because they appear to have more padding. If you're a big guy though I'm not sure how they'll feel because they are pretty snug. The side bolstering on them seem a tad more padded to me, so I'm not sure a big person would find it comfortable or not.
