Fos01 Report post Posted December 8, 2013 I am thinking about installing a grill cover during the winter months. Highs in the 20s ans 30s for the next 3 months and I'm losing 10% in MPGs. When I install the grill guard, I want to monitor the ICE coolant temperature. I can't find the option in the driver information system... Help... 1 GrySql reacted to this
GrySql Report post Posted December 8, 2013 (edited) I want to monitor the ICE coolant temperature. I can't find the option in the driver information system... Help...Page 86 in the FFH owner's Manual.Using the left Display, select My View and continue pushing the right arrow until you reach Menu Level 5, select Coolant Temp. Or, use the Engineering Test Mode by pushing and holding down the steering wheel's left 'OK' button while you start the car, continue holding until the ETM window appears in the left Display.Use the 'up' and 'down' arrows until you find the Coolant Temps. You can drive the car that way. That sounds similar to what we did to block the Prius grille like in this pic. As you can see, on the Prius the insulation isn't out of sight. I'm curious as to how you did your Fusion block to get it out of sight.
