NewHiTi21 Report post Posted December 4, 2013 I just watched there review and was baffled by the fact that the fusion wasn't mentioned once. They compared it to the Prius and the Camry but never thought about the fusion. They also did not say what there real world mileage was. Strange. Anyone else watch the show? B25Nut Report post Posted December 4, 2013 If you want to make another hybrid look good, you don't compare it to the FFH. That is strange that they didn't mention MPG, which tells me the amount they got wasn't exceptional. My local Honda dealer sold the first 2014 they got last week within five minutes, and won't have another for three weeks. I look forward to driving one. 1 hybridbear reacted to this
djminfll Report post Posted December 4, 2013 I did see the review last weekend, and I thought the same thing... REALLY? No comparison to the Fusion Hybrid, but compared to the Prius? What is that about? Here is a link to the transcript of the review: http://www.motorweek.org/reviews/road_tests/2014_honda_accord_hybridThe MPG discussion only says, "Government Fuel Economy Ratings come in at 50-City, 45-Highway, 47-Combined. That’s compares to a Combined rating of for 50 for the Toyota Prius, 41 for the Toyota Camry Hybrid, a more direct rival, and 30 for the standard Accord automatic. Naturally, the Energy Impact Score is stellar at 7.0-barrels of annual oil use with CO2 emissions of 3.1-tons."The other thing that struck me when I watched it was how many more safety features are available in the Fusion Hybrid at a much lower price than the Accord offers. Their base price is over $29K and the safety features are optional. Plus, my 2006 Honda Accord was far noisier than my FFH, the build quality was much worse. I was as disappointed with the Accord as I am impressed with the FFH. 1 hybridbear reacted to this
