keithsm2 Report post Posted November 26, 2013 When i remote start the car...I'd like the seat heaters to be on. I see under the options there is a seat option... Auto or Off. Neither seem to turn the seat heaters on....so ..what DOES it do?
acdii Report post Posted November 26, 2013 Depends on the outside temp. When its 30* or so the seats warm up when set to auto. The seats can take up to 10 minutes before the heat can be felt though, so starting it a few minutes before getting in you wont notice.
SteveB_TX Report post Posted November 26, 2013 I keep my seats, steering wheel, and front/rear defrosters on AUTO. It only takes a few minutes to get the bottom seat cushion nice and toasty, as well as the steering wheel. Never used my remote start until it got down to the 20s here. I was really surprised how quickly the seats and wheel heat up. :) 1 hybridbear reacted to this
keithsm2 Report post Posted November 27, 2013 i was wondering if mine are not working...our low has maybe been 32 or so.. but i havent felt anything when i get in. Remote start has cut into the fuel mileage though.
Riggo Report post Posted February 13, 2014 My remote start isn't working at all anymore. I need an oil change, I have the alert when I start the car that an oil change is required. I'm wondering if because of this the remote start isn't engaging. I also have a check engine light on so who knows.
