Darkside Report post Posted December 8, 2017 You could also read my Sony wiring thread. Nobody on this forum has modified their sound system more than I have. I will also argue the value of ANC, mines disconnected and engine noise is marginally different, but I also no longer get cut outs where I had some bass then none. ANC. Ford also uses a similar feature on their Ford F150's, because the twin turbo's cut most of the engine roar, Ford has add that sound back through the audio system.
