Greg D Isringhaus Report post Posted October 21, 2013 Good morning all. I just placed my order for my 2014 FFH SE on Saturday. Got it FULLY loaded with everything except the Parking Assist. I live out in the country and do not ever parallel park. I am looking so forward to my first Hybrid vehicle. What does everybody else think of this car? I'll keep you updated on the status of my car, the dealer said up to 12 weeks for delivery. Patiently waiting. :) 73 de K0GDI - Greg D Isringhaus 1 djminfll reacted to this

I know the 12 weeks will crawl for you, but once you finally do get your car, you will love it. Besides the great mpg, you will also love the added features you ordered. I couldn't drive a car now that doesn't have Blind Spot Monitoring, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Departure System, and Reverse Sensing System. I agree with thavil, spend the next 12 weeks reviewing the various postings on this forum. You can obtain a lot of important information about the FFH, and you can learn a lot even without being in your car and driving. What color did you pick? And what color interior? 1 hybridbear reacted to this

I picked Sterling Gray, and black leather interior. I'm really excited, as I am a tech freak! 2 hybridbear and djminfll reacted to this

acdii Report post Posted October 23, 2013 Congrats, and rest assured that the car will be trouble free. Looks like Ford quickly ironed out the bugs starting with Job2 builds. Other than a loose trim piece that keeps popping out on the door(someday will take it in and have it replaced), and a tiny paint defect, I have had no issues with mine. So as you peruse the forums and see all the TSB's and complaints, dont have an anxiety attack, because a good majority of those problems have been corrected. You can gain some really good knowledge about the new car here, along with tips on driving it from the get go that will earn you good returns at the pump. Shoot maybe when the car comes in, you teach the dealer some things about the car! :) 1 djminfll reacted to this
GrayStrider Report post Posted October 26, 2013 Welcome, and great color choice! We LOVE ours, and it is our first hybrid, too. Were one of the first to have a 2013 FFH (got it November 28, 2012 - it was the one of the very first few the dealer had in stock) and although ours isn't fully stocked, I love the black leather, navigation, and rear sensing system on ours. One of the best decisions we've made. Let us know when you get yours!

My loan check is only good till Dec 1st, so I am hoping their timeline is accurate. No VIN = Check Expiration = No FFH :(
