The 2013 FFH isn't the first time Ford has seen EPA MPG controversy

Mine always did. Only exception to that was when it was really cold out then it would get slightly below it.

Same here, 39.8 MPG over 145k miles - better than expected as 90% of my miles are highway

When I first got the car it didnt do too great, only managed to get 34 in it, then I had a hard reset done, and retrained the car, after that it got EPA.

 

It is all in how you first dive the car, and many new Hybrid drivers got in it driving like they always did and thats where many of the issues happened. Same can be said about the 13 FFH and Cmax. Even the Prius and Camry were low for the first few K miles before they started seeing EPA consistently.
