Images while listening to music using a USB drive

I have tried this for the first time today and it looks pretty cool.

I have noticed that next to the song that is playing, a picture shows up. In my case it says "POP" and an image of a singer.

Is there a way that instead of showing that, it displays the album image associate with the song, if I place those in the same folder?

If so, how can I achieve that?

All the albums / files should have album art associated with it. In iTunes is very simple to update / add the art work I'm not sure about WMP. Generally spoken its part of the music file properties and if it displays some default it probably use the genre as indicator.

There is a setting on the MFT to have it select album art from the database, or from your USB drive. If you have the album art for every artist, it will work fine, but if you dont, you wont see any art for those tracks.

I spent a good time on this yesterday. I found a Windows app that automatically searches for the covers for each MP3 and embeddes it in the file. It works now. I tried Gracenote database but it hardly found anything.

My Cadillac CTS that I traded in for my FFH had Gracenotes and it didn't work well in that car.

I used Zortam MP3 Media Studio.

It's not free though. Try the trial version to see if it works fine for you. It lets you convert 50 songs or so.
