Oops, stuttered on the send button and double posted. So as long as you're here, I posed another picture.

I'm really sorry to hear that. By the way, I would suggest getting yourself checked out by a doctor. Hopefully you're fine, but sometimes symptoms don't show up right away. You don't want to end up needing medical care later on due to an accident and not being able to get it covered by a lien. I do medical research in a pain clinic and I've seen it.

This is so true. back in 1989 I got rear ended by a truck while I was driving a truck. I felt fine, until a few hours later. Soft tissue damage is the worst kind of injury, very hard to diagnose, and compensation is hard to get once you go past a certain point. I still have pain to this day in my right upper back.

True. Today I am aware of pain and have a red mark on the left shoulder and my right side is now a tad sore in the ribs. Both I attribute to their respective air bags. If not for the air bag curtain that came down, my head would have been through he drivers side window. That would have left a bigger mark. The vehicle did a great job of protecting me. The airbags going off scorched my jacket in back and on the shoulder and now smells like rocket fuel. If I had been in short sleeves, I suspect I'd have had a healthy burn there.

Wow, glad to see you're OK. That's some nasty damage for a parking lot accident. Not sure if you're working the claim thru your insurance company or his as a third party claim, but regardless make sure you bring up Diminished Value if they do not total your car.

Yup, they called about 4:30 today to tell me the repair costs hit $19K and climbing so they pulled the plug.

That's gotta hurt, I'm so sorry!

I was looking at your gallery, and saw the pix you took when the wraps were first taken off your FFH. Are you going to take the $$ and buy another one?

If I can afford it, yeah. 6 weeks to order another, get the windows tinted again and buy another shark fin. I loved that car.

Good luck with your search and may the time to wait not be too bad.

Didn't you get your shark fin off your now totaled car? Even if it sucks now it's probably a piece of mind knowing you won't be driving a stitched up car.

Thanks and yeah, as much as I liked it and as bad as it was, I would hate driving it w/ some little list to the right or rattle no one could ever locate.

*eidt Oh and I should mention that I did grab the shark fin. Had to cut it off w/ a razor blade. I wasn't sure I could get the sticky adhesive gasket, but I sent an email the to juicedhybrid.com people and they got back to me in 4 hours. Said to call Next week and they'd send me a replacement for $12 + SH. Sounds like a deal to me.
