smr2112 Report post Posted September 10, 2013 Some 2013 Fusion and MKZ vehicles built on or before 1/8/2013 may exhibit a rattle noise from theinterior door panel area over rough road surfaces. This noise can be isolated to the trim cover behindthe interior door handle on any of the four doors. http://www.fordservicecontent.com/pubs/content/~WT/~MUS~LEN/3567/tsb13-05-03.pdf

wmpwi Report post Posted June 24, 2014 I had the 2013 and had the rattle. Dealer fixed it and I think that TSB applied. Now I have a 2014 and have the same noise. Sounds almost like it's coming from the passanger door post or rear door post. It's driving me nuts. The aforementioned link says access denied on my end. jeffbarko Report post Posted August 11, 2014 I contacted my local ford regarding this TSB, and they said they could not find anything. I'm guessing my car doesn't apply because it is not during the proper build dates? Is there a way to verify every TSB that your car falls under?

Hi jeffbarko, Your dealership's service manager can enter your VIN into our system to see if any service actions or TSBs apply. TSBs are considered proprietary, so that'll be the best way to find out. Crystal

This is why the dealer's hate when customer's bring in TSBs and expect things to be fixed. Just tell your dealer what the actual problem is, don't worry about TSBs. I've notice door rattle during certain parts of songs and was just hoping this TSB could be applied to solve it, but perhaps it'd be best to stop by an audio shop who can insert foam into the doors.
