hybridbear Report post Posted August 29, 2013 I know some of you hate the Prius, but Toyota has been the leader in hybrid technology and they've just released some info about what to expect in the 2015 4th gen Prius. http://green.autoblog.com/2013/08/28/2015-toyota-prius-55-mpg/ http://www.greencarreports.com/news/1086550_2015-toyota-prius-next-hybrid-aims-for-55-mpg-more-room-better-handling

acdii Report post Posted August 30, 2013 I doubt they would make one I would want. So far nothing has improved on them to equal what our Fusions have in the way of styling, comfort and materials. The one I had looked and felt cheap. I had rented a 2009 a while back when in San Jose, and it felt and handled just as cheap. The only plus is, when they say it will get 55 MPG, it will get 55 MPG. The one I had did 53 MPG lifetime. It was old school rated at 50 highway, 60 city. It did just the opposite, 60 highway 50 city.
hybridbear Report post Posted October 16, 2015 The new Prius eCVT looks strikingly similar in design to the HF35 eCVT in our cars... hybridbear Report post Posted October 16, 2015 It appears that Toyota is copying Ford's driver coaching as well. Notice the scores for acceleration, cruising & braking on the dash...http://www.hybridcars.com/2016-toyota-prius-specifications-revealed/4-2_tft/
