jcg1005 Report post Posted August 22, 2013 I have been thinking about creating a duplicate car on Fuelly and keeping track of mileage after the update separately. Thoughts??
djminfll Report post Posted August 22, 2013 (edited) I did it from the first fillup after having the PCM done correctly. Some of my early tankfuls, and a couple of random bad ones were keeping my overall average at under 43mpg. My first tankful since was 48, and I'm in the middle of my second one, so far it's about 45. This is substantially better than fuelly was representing. And the FFH is getting enough bad press regarding mpg, I want my average to be a positive thing, not a negative. corncobs Report post Posted August 22, 2013 Both your averages are positive so not a problem there.
djminfll Report post Posted August 22, 2013 Both your averages are positive so not a problem there.I just hope that my average remains better moving forward, rather than going back down to 43mpg. If my current tank remains stable, I will get 45mpg, so my avg will be 46.5; I'm OK with that!
