jerseyjim53 Report post Posted August 14, 2013 2013 FFHybrid new March 1, 2013. Passenger window won't auto-up. Brought the car to Dealer on May-15. They told me it was a switch problem. Waited till part came in. Next appt was Jun-17. They installed the new switch, then told me "whoops, my bad - it's a software problem". Called today. They say still no s/w fix. I've read the forums and followed the steps to re-set the auto-up. Does not work. In fact, I hold the switch up to the stopping point. Wait then hold the button up again for 2 sec's. After that, I press the DOWN button and "thunk". It does an "impulse" down and stays dead for about 10 seconds before it will go down. I can not reset or get the passenger window to auto up. Any thoughts out there? Thanks.
hybridbear Report post Posted August 14, 2013 Bad motor? Have you shown the dealer how it behaves when you try to reset it as you describe above?
djminfll Report post Posted August 14, 2013 I've had mine in three times for this... At least your dealer is trying to fix it, mine just keeps saying "we couldn't duplicate the problem, so we couldn't fix it." If your service tech figures it out, please let me know. In the meantime, I keep doing the reset described here, and I'm just waiting for the window to stop working completely and they'll have to replace the entire mechanism. SteveB_TX Report post Posted August 15, 2013 My front passenger and drivers windows express up stopped working a couple weeks ago, and instead of reprogramming them, I decided to let the dealership deal with them. Today as I was taking the car to the dealer for the PCM recalibration and repeat express up issue, both windows miraculously started working again.
