gmarshall Report post Posted August 9, 2013 I have a 2103 FFH SE with MyFord Touch and navigation and when I access the right side 4.2" display on the instrument cluster and scroll down to navigation and hit the right steering wheel arrow I see the following four options: My Home Previous Destinations Favorites POI Nearby I have seen other 20013 FFH SE's with MyFord Touch and navigation show diffeerent menu choices, what does your show. Also if I scroll down and try to use "POI Nearby" and for example select "Fuel Station" it comes back and says "Please Wait" but comes back with nothing, same for any selection that I choose. I have done several master resets of my SYNC system to see if it would correct this problem but still get the same results. Boat Racer Report post Posted August 15, 2013 I have a 2013 FFH Titanium with MFT and Nav and I have the same 4 options as you listed in the 4.2" display in the Nav mode. I have the same problem when I select fuel station. Sometimes it will show nearby fuel stations on that display and other times it does not and just goes to the next thing on my POI favorites list. However, when I select POI on the main MFT screen, it actually shows the local fuel stations with some of them having the fuel price listed. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Dan Weyant Report post Posted August 16, 2013 I've got a similar issue. if I try to use any of the navigation options on the 4.2 inch screen it just says please wait for a few seconds and then goes back to the same screen, no POI's no navigation. neod192 Report post Posted September 5, 2013 (edited) I just checked mine (Titanium) and have the same issue ... I select any POI category, it says Please Wait then it goes back to the categories. It also says more categories are available on the touch screen, but the touch screen doesn't change from whatever was displaying before. Thanks!I've had it work but it takes me hitting the right button a few times while highlighted on poi or even pressing the left arrow after the please wait brings it back to the menu. gmarshall Report post Posted October 21, 2013 When I first noticed this problem in my vehicle I contacted my sales person at the dealership and they had me bring my car over to take a look at it. We took my NAV card out of my vehicle and installed it in another FFH just like mine that was on the lot and this feature worked just fine on the first try everytime. Mine is the same as above if you toggle the right button a few times it will display the correct information, like the above post said it is a crap shoot if it works or not, this is not correct. There seems to be alot of these vehicles that are having the same issue. My dealer contacted Ford about this problem and told them what it was doing but I have not heard anything back on this yet.
