murphy Report post Posted August 24, 2013 I was going for 999.9 MPG but for some reason the engine decided to start and run a few minutes on a long mostly downhill. Your battery was full so regenerative braking was no longer possible. It ran the engine to provide the braking. It should not have used any gasoline however. 2 hybridbear and corncobs reacted to this

vangonebuy Report post Posted August 26, 2013 I was going for 999.9 MPG but for some reason the engine decided to start and run a few minutes on a long mostly downhill. 575.6 mpgWay over the top numbers...... :worship: Should have regen the whole way or at least till topped off battery. Ride that generator. Ride it!(Kinda like Slim Pickins on the bomb.)
Hybrider Report post Posted April 26, 2015 This seemed like to best place to post this, since it is the most miles driven that I think I have ever seen anywhere for an FFH with greater than or equal to 60 MPG. 4 corncobs, hybridbear, vangonebuy and 1 other reacted to this
md13ffhguy Report post Posted April 26, 2015 Wow, that's fantastic! :) Yes, this seems like a good thread to put this in, but I had to laugh when I realized that the previous post was a couple months before I even bought my 2013. :)
