Plasti Dipping my stock 17" Wheels Anthracite Grey

Recommended Posts

How about a

back there with Plasti-Dip. You can always peel it off when it is still fresh.

Or,

?

OCC did the water painting a few times on their custom bikes. Did a few camouflage designs and IIRC they made one with dollar notes.

That is cool, but would be very difficult to do on the Flex. The car is too heavy to pick up and dip in the water like that. :)

Here is what it used to be on the Titanium.

What the 2013 looks like

Different altogether so cant put an older panel on. But looking at what the old one looked like, Plastidip just might work. A light coat of metallic on top would probably do the trick.

One thing about the Plasti-Dip, it's cheap enough to try and removeable if it doesn't work out.

You have plenty of time with nothing to do, don't ya? ;)

Just the opposite, too many things not enough time. Work keeps interfering with my fun.

$6 worth of matte black should be OK. Course it might get scratched pretty easy as it is "rubber" paint. The metalizer silver has quite a sparkle. Clear would knock the brightness. Check out dipyourcar on the net and on YouTube.

I plasti dipped my 17" wheels a matte black and also my grill which matched the lower grill perfectly.

Looks good.

If you scrape the wheel on a curb, can you just dip the scraped spot, or would you need to do the complete wheel?
