Aquineas Report post Posted July 16, 2013 (edited) When my wife's Fusion came off the truck last Friday, it was *extremely* dirty and it still had plastic/etc on the wheels and hadn't been prepped. I asked if the dealer could have it ready that day so I could surprise the wife for the weekend, and they managed to clean it up. Unfortunately, upon inspection, I found some paint issues that the dealer promised to fix (there is a spot on the trunk where the paint is nicked and you could almost peel it off if you pulled it, as well as there being several scratches on the clear coat). In any case, we dropped the car off today and they promised to have the car back on Monday at the latest, but probably Friday of this week. The torture comes in because my wife absolutely loves her car, and you could almost see a pained look on her face when we dropped it off today. Honestly, I don't blame her. That being said, Gullo Ford of Conroe, Tx is being awesome about making the car right, so I'm happy about that. As far as I can tell, the car has no other obvious defects. acdii Report post Posted July 17, 2013 Thats really good news in a way. :) I found the paint is a bit loose on the rear bumper right behind the left rear wheel where it joins the body. I would hate to be without the car for the days it would take to repaint it.

Aquineas Report post Posted July 20, 2013 Got the car back; FINALLY looks spotless and without flaws. They had to re-paint the trunk, but my eyes can't tell a difference in the color. 1 jeff_h reacted to this
