corncobs Report post Posted July 10, 2013 Thanks for sharing. I thing I noticed since we had discussion about the sequence of colors it appears that Ford is grouping same color cars together. I have seen other car manufacturers that mix and and match colors on the assembly line. But it could also just be that in this plant the paint department hasn't been updated. Very interresting. 1 gadgetguy reacted to this

gadgetguy Report post Posted July 10, 2013 Ford has really done an impressive job of utilizing existing infrastructure and not adding cost for production.
rjent Report post Posted July 11, 2013 Very nice! Nice find. It is one of the reason why Ford didn't need a Gov. bailout.

47Minutes Report post Posted July 16, 2013 Someone please send that guy a camera stabilizer. I wanted to watch this but had to bail after about 20 seconds of that camera jumping all over the place. 2 Aquineas and acdii reacted to this
hybridbear Report post Posted July 17, 2013 Interesting. I would love to tour the Hermosillo plant where our cars were made or FRAP to see the C-Max get produced. Has anyone watched the NatGeo Megafactories episode about Tesla? That was really cool too.
acdii Report post Posted July 17, 2013 Saw the preproduction builds of the Volt, where the cars were basically built by hand.
Aquineas Report post Posted July 18, 2013 Would be interesting to see footage of the Hermasillo plant as well.
