kuzzi Report post Posted June 20, 2013 So the lead and following car both have to have this device installed? Either gubbment will mandate this on all vehicles or it will be 40 years until every vehicle has this.
corncobs Report post Posted June 20, 2013 Yep all cars would need to have this! It kinda goes towards the "Future of hybrid design" thread vehicles have to be managed / manage between each other to make driving more efficient and safer. Audi did something similar a few years back where the cars would communicate between each other and traffic lights for example. The traffic light would tell the car " Hey I'm about to turn red you can start slowing down" > talking about maximizing your brake score!!! It should be always 100%. I'm with you on the mandated part but bottom line who is going to pay for this.
