New owner, anyone have this issue?

Recommended Posts

I have had my car about 3 weeks, and last week it came up with a message on the left side display saying to check the fuel inlet something, so the first time I get out of the car and open the fuel door, i press on the inlet thinking maybe it is just stuck or something, got back in the car started it up and it still said it. I clicked ok, and thought it was just a fluke, the next couple times it didn't do it at all, and now it is doing it every time I start the car. Is anyone else having this problem? What are your recommendations?

If it was me in this situation, I would get out the disposable fuel nozzle in your trunk and insert it into the fuel inlet. This may re-seat the fuel inlet so the sensor turns off.

Spot on thavil. Manual says to use that nozzle and open and close it a couple of times.
