Bluetooth Stopped Working and now cannot connect.

Recommended Posts

For some reason, my bluetooth stopped working. It wouldn't connect with either of my phones. I unpaired on my phone and reset everything, but still nothing. What's really weird is that on my phone, it no longer find SYNC. It shows a long number that looks like 00:16:FE:30:9D:BD instead. When I go to the ADD DEVICE button on the touchscreen, the screen pops up with the code or whateverthat number is, but imediately disappears and flashes no devices added even while the voice is still explaining what you're supposed to do.

Any ideas?

My phone did that once. I removed the battery from my phone let it reboot and it reconnected almost immediately. Might give it a try...

I'll give it a shot, but it's weird that both of my phones are having the same issue at the same time.

This is a known problem that occurs from time to time.

See pinned thread for solution.

That did the trick. It was pretty a easy. Just a pain in the ass to have to do it all though.
