Recommended Posts

Ok guardianbob..I.set.s mykey...and it.limits your speed.and.even radio.volume. the owners manual tells you how to.clear it, but the instructions don't work. Do I have.to have the.other key fob(afmin key) to clear it:)?..the menu does not give you.s clear all option as the manual tells u it does.

Yes you need an admin key to clear it.

It's designed to limit your kids use of the car.

It wouldn't be much use if they could clear it themselves.

LOL, I tried to warn you about mykey. Just don't do it on both keys. That would be very bad.

The car knows how many keys you have and won't let you set all of them to MyKey - you have to have at least one admin key.

forget below, it worked the second time I tried it with the admin key, cheers

I also did an admin key by mistake and want to clear it- so I used my other original key with no settings and I still could not get the cancel choice to show? Thanks, new to driving these computers
