corncobs Report post Posted May 26, 2013 (edited) Someone started a similar thread on the BOF a while back. It was really fun to see the submitted pictures. So I thought lets start one of our own here on FFHF; here are a few of my own to get started. The most obvious one: My favorite till today: My new favorite: Here is little experiment after someone on BOF posted one that matched the four quadrants phone/compass/music/climate Unfortunately the layout isn't quite correct since the divider line isn't matching with the pic divider. It would be fun to see other ideas and pictures. Edited May 26, 2013 by corncobs 1 GrySql reacted to this

gkinla Report post Posted May 28, 2013 Here are simple instructions for adding wallpaper to MFT. The My Ford Touch wallpapers can be gif, jpg, png, and bmp with a maximum file size of 1.5MB.Wallpaper Dimensions are 800px x 384px. 1. Load the wallpaper images on a USB Drive. 2. Insert the USB Device into the USB port in the central console (under the armrest) 3. Select the Settings Options 4. Select Display Options 5. Select Edit Wallpaper 6. Select "Add" and then from your USB device select what images you would like to import. This will just copy the images from your USB drive into the MFT system 7. Once the files have been uploaded, press the back arrow and then highlight the image you want and select Save. 8. Select the Home button and you should see your image now appear! 4 jtbogus, hybridbear, TonyHzNV and 1 other reacted to this

corncobs Report post Posted May 28, 2013 I told this to my wife and she looked at me and said " you better not, we have kids in the car! "You can make a kinds friendly version maybe with Ernie and Bert and a real men's version if you drive by yourself. ;-) Btw after playing around with some Pink Floyd motives my wife really like the following. acdii Report post Posted May 28, 2013 with MY luck, I'll have something on the scree, completely forget about it, and have my mother sit in the car with it coming up. Such is the way of the Weird and Wacky. 1 corncobs reacted to this
Guardian_Bob Report post Posted May 28, 2013 I really like the simplicity of your wallpaper. @ gkinla Thanks for adding the instructions very nice! Thanks, I was going for something that worked even if the icons hadn't loaded. Made it before I even got my car. Loaded it on before leaving the dealership. 1 corncobs reacted to this
TonyHzNV Report post Posted January 6, 2015 (edited) Thanks to Corncobs for pointing me in this direction and to gkinla for posting the instructions to load them up. I have played around a bit and made a few single and quadrant type screens. I will post a few in the 800 x 384 size so you can use them if you'd like to. I may also post a couple that show what they look like when installed into MFT. Hope you like them. It's not SO hard to do. Waldo Report post Posted January 6, 2015 There's something about a big imposing helicopter superimposed with the text "Do Not Disturb" that somehow makes me feel like I don't want to mess with you... 4 acdii, GrySql, TonyHzNV and 1 other reacted to this
TonyHzNV Report post Posted January 6, 2015 There's something about a big imposing helicopter superimposed with the text "Do Not Disturb" that somehow makes me feel like I don't want to mess with you...How about the name of the song that's playing......"Above Us All" :) Don't worry, Waldo, I'm not such a bad guy! And there are a lot of guys just like me who either have guarded or ARE guarding our country from the REAL bad guys. And some of us drive FFH's! You're welcome! :) 1 GrySql reacted to this

I can't take credit for the screen background, I downloaded it after I Googled, Ford MFT 800x384 wallpaper. There are many more great wallpapers to download. I thank all the people that spent way too much time creating these wallpapers for us to use freely. The only thing I did was rename my phone to Tricorder. TonyHzNV Report post Posted January 7, 2015 Don't know if I'll actually leave it there, but fun to do it.Nice pic mwr. Beautiful scenery, MFT doesn't really cover up anything and it's very soothing on the eyes. Nice!
hybridbear Report post Posted January 7, 2015 I like the scenery pic. I tried a couple of those but the colors were too light which made the MFT text hard to read. You really need a sunset/sunrise pic or one with lots of dark colors so that the white MFT text is legible. I'm hoping to take some nice pics on our upcoming vacation that I can use for MFT. Right now I just have pics of the old black FFH which are also in my gallery and shown below.
