coltm733 Report post Posted May 23, 2013 (edited) Hey hey, I brought a New 2013 Ford Fusion Hybrid Titanium in black about a couple of weeks ago. I traded my 2013 Honda Accord EX for it. Only option I got with my Fusion was just the moonroof. I may look into adding more options later. A little bit of myself I'm currently in the Military, stationed in Fort Riley, Kansas. I am about to finish my contract in a few months. Looking forward to making the long drive home back to Boston in my new car. neod192 Report post Posted May 23, 2013 So you traded a 2013 for another 2013 car? Mind if I ask why? Was something wrong with the Accord? Having owned both the Accord and Fusion, do you mind sharing yours thoughts on how they compare? My dad bought the Accord, I bought the Fusion - we both love our cars. Oh yeah, welcome :)

Also curious about your thoughts comparing the two vehicles and the pros and cons of each. Thanks and welcome!

Oh yeah, welcome :) Like Neod's comment above I'm also curious about why you traded in an almost new Honda Accord for the new Fusion. Also curious about your thoughts comparing the two vehicles and the pros and cons of each. Thanks and welcome! Well I loved driving the Accord, it was a straight forward car without any issues at least none from what I encountered. However I did find that the Accord lacked a lot of quality control issues in the interior. I noticed a lot of things were starting to get loose especially things that had plastic covers over it. I also had the EX model so I didn't have leather seats or a touch panel. Actually I never really considered even to looking into American cars until after I purchased the Accord. Since I decided I wouldn't be staying in the military any longer I decided that I wanted a more fuel efficient car. I averaged about 30 mpg on the Accord but I was looking for more. I also wanted a better audio sound system. The one the Accord had was an complete joke. It was only a 4 speaker with 2 tweeters and the plastic covers that was holding the tweeters loose to a point where it would rattle if the tweeter were too loud. I wanted a touch display, the Accord had an 8 inch display but it was pretty basic. However one thing I loved about the Accord was the camera on the side view mirror on the passenger side. It was very neat and I do kinda miss not having it. I did try the touring model before making the drive over to Ford. Based on what I saw on the Ford Fusion Hybrid Titanium all of it appealed to me more. IMO I think the Accord was a better ride then the Ford Fusion, but the Fusion completely blew me away in the tech department. However I am still waiting for this update for APPLINK WTH Ford!!!
