BradS7535 Report post Posted May 21, 2013 Well I've experienced my first "issue" with the car/sync/MFT. I paired my Galaxy Nexus the day I got the car and haven't had any problems the past 3.5 weeks. Now for some reason my phone won't automatically pair with the car when I start it. I have to toggle the bluetooth on/off on my phone to get it to work. I don't usually turn off my phone, but I think I remember re-starting it a few days ago and that is when the problems started. Anyone else have these issues? I know there was a post somewhere on here that mentioned how to completely remove the phone from MFT and remove the car from the phone and essentially start the paring process from scratch, but couldn't find it. Any suggestions?
gmarshall Report post Posted May 21, 2013 I have had this same issue sometimes with my phone not pairing when I leave work and get into my car. I found out if you just hit the sync phone button and say phone, it will come back and say "NO PHONE IS CONNECTED RIGHT NOW SYNC WILL TRY TO CONNECT TO A PREVIOUS PAIRED PHONE" and this works for me most of the time. 1 acdii reacted to this

The only time it didnt work, I had to reboot the phone itself. Sometimes when starting the car, it appears that the bootup process of MFT and BT pairing coincide with each other causing the pair to fail, IOW Sync doesnt see the phone in time and stops the search. coltm733 Report post Posted May 23, 2013 I find that turning on Wi-Fi on the phone will help strengthen the bluetooth connection.
