Fun to drive? Yes or No

Recommended Posts

This is not a question of do you like the car, or like all the bells and whistles (who doesn't?)

Instead, the query is about IS THE CAR FUN TO DRIVE?

Do you like the way it corners. Does it inspire confidence? Do the brakes let you take it a little further into the turn before braking?

My wife, who years ago, said "driving a car is not supposed to be fun" started changing her opinion with the Mustang GT. Now, with this Fusion, she actually volunteered, very early on, that it was fun to drive this hybrid. Imagine, a hybrid that is fun to drive! It's quiet, rides firmly, stops quickly, and corners well. Turn in is sharp, steering is quick, and the ride is solid.

What do you think? Does the Fusion stand out as a driver's car for you?

YES!

When I can take a curve at 60 and it hugs it, and other cars slosh through the same curve at 50 tops, it is a definite FUN car. If the car had giddyup, it would make a sure footed rally car.

Hell ya; IMO the Fusion is an awesome drivers car not question in my mind.

Sure it's not a car that you take on a race course and break records but it would be fun to drive around a track.

I would love to take the FFH to the Alps and drive up and down mountain roads with 20+ serpentine curves; but I would drive some parts just by myself to avoid motion sickness in the second row. ?

You beat me! Unfortunately the few nice corners we have around here are usually blocked by slower drivers; like the exit from Rt 53 onto 14 this exit ramp is fun! Edited by corncobs

Absolutely yes! Very fun to drive. My parents have said the same thing about the C-Max Energi. That was one of the things my dad liked most that he has come to accept the idea of owning a Ford

Go to Marengo and take River road west from 23 to County Line and back, There is an S curve there that you can try that will make your face hurt! I took it at 60 and LOVED it!

No question, I love the way this car drives. Very nimble for it size and weight. I know high performance sports cars, and although this is not one by any stretch, it is still fun to drive ....

Reminds me of that Saturday Night Live skit about "The Californians" where they are always talking about driving a certain route to get somewhere.
