I just brought my new Black on Black HyTi home. 160 miles from home. This was my first leg ....

 

I was literally stunned. I kept bringing the summary back up to look at it ... until my wife snapped me out of it by telling me to take a damn picture ... :camera: :hysterical:

Then the second leg was about 70 percent Interstate which I kept at 60-65. Hilly terrain on the non interstate portion and it was doing about 44 or so.

Then the final stats from the trip screen which I had reset at the dealership ....

 

I busted out laughing. Where is :baby: when you need him ..... :)

 

 

I guess they will make EPA after all ..... :happy feet:

Congrats, love seeing when they actually work! The one I had ordered was DIB, but the dealer switched it to black after I bought the Flex. I gave a brief thought of seeing if I could purchase the HyTi to go along with my Black Flex, but not feasible. Its the Color man, THE COLOR! Tuxedo Black and Ruby Red are the cars to get!

No, probably just my bad phone cam. It is blue.

 

I will start a thread in the morning about the experience so far because I am going to put it to a test in the morning. My wife drove it across town (3 miles) to buy gas (had to have an excuse to drive it LOL) and she got 48 starting with a cold engine.

 

So far I am ecstatic.... This car is exceeding all of my expectations. We have two long road trips planned this year. One to California which will be about 2000 round trip and one to Oregon which will be about 5000 miles. We are routing ourselves on the back US and State highways. We have done that in the Corvettes and will absolutely not travel any other way any more. It adds a little time, but the scenery is worth it. I am thinking that it should help with gas mileage. We will find out! :)

 

Like I say, in the AM, wait for it. I am 62 years old and I feel like I just got my first car .... LOL

Probably ignition is in the 'on' position but not the 'run' position... looks like the doors are also open.
