Navigation Route Options

Recommended Posts

I was watching this video:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=zAY3HFwqAqU#!

And realized that my Nav doesn't give me any route options. It just picks one and starts giving me directions. I have the eco/shortest/fastest options in the menus, but can't select them when I start a route. If that just a change with the new versions?

Also, how do I see a summary of my route on the map? Since I know where I'm going most of the time, I want to see if the Nav picks my usual route or a different one.

Check the nav settings, you may have it selected to use a specific one. I recall seeing it on the Flex which is 3.5.1, but not on the Fusion which was 3.2.2.

I just got the upgrade to 3.5.1 from 3.2.2. There is now an option to just use your preferred route option which turns

off the choices. You can set this to NO and get the chance to see each route and decide which you want each time

it computes the new route. (I did this).

By the way. The eco route now seems to usually be the same as the fastest. In version 3.2.2 it was usually different choosing

smaller back roads. I liked the old way much better and wish I could get that back.

Where do you exactly find which version you have? :worship:

If you have the Leaf Hybrid button next to the Home button, you have the new version (3.5.1). You can also check syncmyride.com.

I don't think you can change the map colors.
