New 2013 Deep Impact Blue HyTi!

Recommended Posts

Just joined the forum, been checking it out for the past month waiting to get my 2013 HyTi.

Quick backstory:

Wanted a 2013 FFH Titanium in Deep Inpact Blue, but after reading about all the delays and such about the Titanium production issues decided to order a regular FFH at the end of Feb. Fast forward to this past week and I finally got an update about my FFH order, and that it was scheduled to start being built on 4/15. This past week I went on Ford's website and was browsing dealer stock and saw that the FFH Titaniums were starting to show up at dealerships. So I started in San Diego, and slowly started checking all the dealerships up the state until I found 2 Deep Impact Blues. Called up the dealer and picked it up this past weekend. It was 1 of 3 Deep Impact Blue FFH Titaniums in the entire state. Just let my original dealer know to cancel my original order of the FFH and issue a refund on the deposit.

So far loving the car. First trip to work (43 miles) I got 44 MPG without really trying. Today, tried to keep it in EV mode as much as possible and got 48 MPG.

Only issue I've noticed so far (super minor) is that my driver's side BLIS light sometimes gets confused...sometimes it doesn't turn on if there is a car there, or it will stay on when there isn't. Anyone else seen this before?

Congrats! Deep Impact Blue is a really nice color (I'm slightly partial to it) !!! Let us know if your original dealer gives you the deposit back (they don't have to).

I don't have any issues with BLIS on mine and didn't read about anyone else having issues yet. Where are the pictures?? What options did you get, besides driver assist?

I really only wanted the Titanium trim with Nav...and I was considering the moon roof, but the one that they had available at the dealership had Nav, moon roof and the Driver Assist Package (Lane Keeping and BLIS). Something I didn't really need, but it was a small (additional) price to pay to get the color I wanted in the Titanium trim, instead of just the regular FFH.

I was told by both dealers (original and the one I ended up getting the car at) that all the deposits are refundable. They just take one to make sure you are serious about placing a car on order.

She's a beauty! Congratulations. Mine is Oxford White and I love it but that blue is wicked cool.

Except Ginger Ale. I saw one up close, and it just doesnt fit with the styling. All the other colors look good, even the gray and silver, and I dont like those colors at all, but the Fusion rocks them.

Oh I think the gray is fantastic. Would have looked for one myself if they hadn't only been available with black interior. I don't like silver cars in general though. Not really crazy about the Fusion in it either, but that's just my tastes. I had a hard time choosing between the Bordeaux I got or DIB. I'm pleased though.

Just got my $500 deposit back from the original dealer. No issues there!

Congratulations, the car looks great!

And I wouldn't have expected that you'd have trouble getting the deposit back. When I considered canceling my order due to expected delay, the salesman told me they would have no trouble selling the car, and they'd give me the deposit back with no problems.
