elle Report post Posted April 17, 2013 I still get notices that posts are being "liked," but you can no longer see them on the actual post. When I "like" a post, it no longer shows up on that post. Is this just happening for me, or are others noticing this difference on the forum? 8 djminfll, robertlane, neod192 and 5 others reacted to this
GrySql Report post Posted April 17, 2013 Just tried it with your post, it just shows an 'unlike' button.Doesn't show any other members - that is different than it was.
neod192 Report post Posted April 17, 2013 Confirmed :) Who's managing these forums anyway? :-p
elle Report post Posted April 17, 2013 I don't know, but I don't 'like' it! :headspin:
acdii Report post Posted April 17, 2013 I noticed things have moved around a bit too. Weren't me doing it*evil grin*
terryb Report post Posted April 17, 2013 Yep, I noticed the evaporation of the likes last week sometime. I thought my ability to see them had changed, but obviously it's more common across the board. If they're invisible, I think their use will drop.
hybridbear Report post Posted April 18, 2013 I noticed that too. Other forums, like BOF or C-Max Energi or C-Max Hybrid forums didn't show who liked posts just like what is happening now on our forum
acdii Report post Posted April 18, 2013 They probably did an upgrade on the forum software.
elle Report post Posted April 18, 2013 Somebody must have made a change in the software; I run a couple of forums and this is usually something you can turn on or off, though I've never seen one turn it off visibly but still leave the function! Weird choice, IMO.

elle Report post Posted April 18, 2013 The site was down a few days ago for an update. That's probably it. Hopefully they notice and make it either likes that work all the way or no likes at all!
corncobs Report post Posted April 22, 2013 There is another not so nice new feature. If I like a post it used to update the page and go back to that post. Now after the update the first post of current page is shown. Very annoying and please bring the old like features back !!! 1 neod192 reacted to this

The like button just updates to unlike - I'm using Chrome. 1 elle reacted to this
corncobs Report post Posted April 22, 2013 OK in this case it might be just be the case with the mobile version in combination with my iPhone. Has anyone asked the "staff" about the likes display on a post? 1 robertlane reacted to this
robertlane Report post Posted April 23, 2013 If you click on like, it then turns a grey colour "Unlike." The Unlike is if you change your mind later on and want to take your like back.
corncobs Report post Posted April 23, 2013 That's true but we are talking about the display under the post that would show all the members that liked this post.
robertlane Report post Posted April 23, 2013 That's true but we are talking about the display under the post that would show all the members that liked this post. I got you now. It's only show if "you" liked it, but doesn't show who else.

hybridbear Report post Posted May 1, 2013 Did anyone notice that with the changes it also reduced the size of images that we can attach directly to posts? Now instead I've found I have to add the images to my gallery and then link that to the post
neod192 Report post Posted May 1, 2013 I think there is finite space for imaged linked to posts to each user. Every time you upload a pic, the size decreases. I can't attach them anymore and use Google+ (w/ instant upload from my phone) to host my pics. 1 hybridbear reacted to this
