P&G with the GT

Since owning the FFH we use it about 98% of the time. We've sold the RV, boat and all but one remaining car, my Mustang GT convertible - my wife still loves it.

The GT sits forlorn and idle in the garage with a battery trickle charger keeping it's ticker on life support.

This afternoon I got a sudden burst of energy, pulled the car cover and gave it a loving spritz of Meguiars Detailer and shined it up.

After dinner we hopped in, put the top down and went cruisin'.

After a few miles it was warmed up, so, I just had to do a rubber burning stop-sign launch and had the rear end twist sideways burning some more tire smoke going into second gear.

 

At this point my mind slipped into a moment of cognitive dissonance.

I let off the gas pedal, then slightly back on the pedal and looked down at the left display to let it engage the EV - WHAT! I was setting up a Pulse and Glide maneuver.

 

How foolish I felt but soon realized that the FFH has been conditioning me to drive smarter.

The GT is back in the garage, under wraps with the heart slowly beating.

LOL I catch myself doing the same thing in the flex. Even better, I look at the left display when I shut it off. Of course there isnt any summary on the Flex, but, still look at it for some odd reason.
