stanleyi4se Report post Posted October 2, 2006 I have a 2006 i4 se and i have the 6cd in dash player. I have problems with the door panels rattling even with the slightest amount of bass. I took it in and there was a tsb about the problem and they had to rebuild the inside of the door panels. Worked great for about two weeks and now they rattle worse then ever, anyone have this problem?

Worrys Report post Posted February 9, 2007 Actually, I have the same issue as well with my 2007 I4 SE. I have a nice system that I wanted to put in but I can't imagine what the rattling would be like then. I was thinking of having that Dynamat dampening stuff placed all around the car to see if that would fix it. Does anyone know if this would work before I invest in it? mtl1977 Report post Posted February 13, 2007 I had no vibration issues until I put the 12" sub in the trunk. Now the driver's door panel rattles like crazy when the low frequencies hit. There is a lot of flex in the panel - take off off the panel and do what is necessary to stop the problem. Packing a little cloth between the metal door structure and panel should take care of it.
