malibu3105 Report post Posted May 15, 2013 It's likely that May 20 is not your build date but just your build week. The last build day in that week is May 25. The sticker for a May 25 build would be generated on May 18 but might not be visible until May 20. Side note: abats VIN is invalid. It has P oh S instead of P zero S. LASooner Report post Posted May 17, 2013 Still don't have my car. I couldn't get any answers on what exactly is wrong and why it's taking so long to get the fix parts. I contacted the Ford Service twitter account yesterday and supposedly the regional Ford service manager is now looking into why it's taking so long, but I haven't heard anything since yesterday morning when they said they'd let me know as soon as they knew anything. Why can't they just tell me what the eff is wrong with the car exactly? And should I be worried that they would be unwilling to tell me exactly what's wrong with it? This is really frustrating. My first order was FAST!! 28 days from order to delivery, but I am in California. But they ordered the wrong color. I am on round #2, and this one is slow. I ordered on April 15, and getting a build date of May 25. So 40 days just to get a build.Delivery is about 9 days for me so at least I should have my car the first week of June if nothing else changes. No tips, just luck of the Ford draw. Confused ....Barring special circumstances, such as a holiday, the build date is 7 days after the date embedded in the bottom center box on the sticker. That has been true for years. acdii Report post Posted May 23, 2013 I did some digging and found I had ordered the HyTi on 3-16, got the VIN from Trina on April 30, sticker on 5-9, and built on 5-16 exactly 2 months from the day it was ordered.
