Why no Ford Customer Service here?

When I visited the Flex Forum, there is a rep from Ford there who answers peoples questions and responds to others posts, but nothing here. What is really interesting is that this forum is highly active, but the Flex on is pretty much dead. There has not been an active thread in at least a week.

The reason is probably that the Flex is a mature vehicle with little, if any, unknowns. A Customer Service person would rarely have to say "I don't know" on the Flex forum. Until Ford has an offical policy on some of the minor issues we experience, I wouldn't volunteer to be the CS rep here if I worked for them. It would be nice, however, if they would just once offically say "We're listening".

Can you recall any member who has called a CSR on the phone that has got a straight, definitive, complete and final answer about these cars little teething problems?

Collectively we have found and help solve more problems than Ford would care to admit.

Facebook has their Fusion Rep's working very hard but a lot of the answers are vague 'policy' answers, we aren't satisfied with that pablum.

B25Nut is right, who'd volunteer for this Forum.

Ford reads this forum and they don't want to get involved until the car has 'matured'.

It would be nice if they were brave enough though, then we wouldn't have to do all this guesswork.

Probably right, but you would think their flagship sedan would be where they would want to focus their attention instead of on a forum that isnt moving.

"A company rep monitoring the threads might provide useful answers to member questions on occasion. Is this a possibility?"

 

It couldn't hurt for members to do the same.
