GrayStrider Report post Posted April 4, 2013 Ordered up a dash cover, hope it looks good. Hate a plain dashboard, and found a company that had them for the 2013 FFH. Wish Ford had one in their official accessories, I'd have bought it from them. Will have to let you all know how it looks when it arrives.

GrayStrider Report post Posted April 7, 2013 That's why we're getting one - hot, dry Southern California here!
GrySql Report post Posted April 7, 2013 I tried one and sent it back. Now I see that several better options are available.

Ohmster Report post Posted June 3, 2013 Not to offend, but aren't these things so '90's? I've lived in SoCal for over twenty years, never used one, never had any damages to any dashes from the heat. 1 corncobs reacted to this
hermans Report post Posted June 3, 2013 Move a couple of hundred of miles to the East and you would see it's not so "90s."

Ohmster Report post Posted June 4, 2013 Move a couple of hundred of miles to the East and you would see it's not so "90s." I spent seven years in upstate New York and another ten in Canada. I've done by time on the east coast. :) Happy here, and no one I know on right coast uses them....that doesn't mean much, but just say'n....
acdii Report post Posted June 4, 2013 Y'all dont live in a desert! Bake a car there a few years and see what your dash looks like.

GrayStrider Report post Posted July 17, 2013 Finally got a picture of the dash mat to post. Although it appears gray in the picture, it's actually black. Kinda like it, even if it's 'so 90's'. ;)
GrayStrider Report post Posted August 24, 2013 One main thing the dash cover does is knock down the glare of the dash onto the window. The only thing I don't like about it is the stitched cut slits for the airbag. They could have left it uncut, and I'd skip putting adhesive in that spot. You really only need a small piece in front of the driver and passenger, near the window, anyway. It stays in place pretty well on it's own.
Sleddog Report post Posted August 25, 2013 I'm glad its doing what you wanted. Sorry, but IMO, it does nothing for the look of the interior and doesn't seem like it fits very well.
