I finally decided to join the club officially after reading all the posts for probably the last 3 month or so.

 

You can see my cars journey in my signature and you guys helped a lot getting thru 15 long weeks.

I was fun and sometimes painful to read posts where people almost seemed to jump onto each other’s throat if they would have been in one room together.

 

I picked up a lot of good advice in general especially regarding the $750 cash rebate (which expired a week before I picked up my car :cry: ) My dealer is still trying to submit the rebate to Ford but no feedback so far.

 

Regarding my dealer, after reading some posts here about dealers not being able to give or willing to give updates it's a shame. I only had to send an email to my sales guy (not manager) and within a couple minutes I did receive a status update from the vehicle visibility report.

 

So far I have about 450 miles on my car and my lifetime avg is 36.7 mpg, the avg on the Empower screen is 38.5 and climbing daily. This morning I had my 3rd day commuting to the office about 38 miles from my house and a managed 42.5 mpg. The first 2x it was really cold 11*F in the morning but I still managed 33.5 and 36 mpg. I go about 26 miles on regular highways (45 speed limit) with some city driving mixed in and 12 miles on the interstate @ 65+ mph.

 

It's funny but since I got my car I have seen a lot more '13 Fusion on the road, unfortunately I have never seen the Deep Impact Blue one driven by Acdii :) but I keep looking.

That was way before you unfortunately decided to park it.

Well its parked only because I dont want to add to the miles so that I get the deal I worked with my dealer on the HyTi, whenever that one gets built. going on week three so far, wonder if anything crops up. I have to keep it under 10K, and with 8332 on it now, one week of driving can easily add up. I do miss driving it, but on the other hand, I still get worked up over the... youknow.
