Speed control volume not working. Also a phone question.

Is anyone else having trouble with the speed control volume on their car?

 

I have tried turning it all the way up to 7 without being able to notice it working.

 

Also I am less than impressed with how my sync and my android phone play music. I was hoping for the applink or on-screen pandora/spotify apps.

 

Does the iphone work better? Is the artist/song information shown on the driver or nav screen? All I see if on the entertainment screen is it saying that it's connected to bluetooth.

If connected by bluetooth its not going to show anything. The sound quality is also poor. If you can hook it up with USB its a night and day difference. It will show artist and title through USB. The SCV is also one of those things that if the volume is low you wont notice, and high you wont notice, but at about 1/4 volume its noticeable. The bass deepens. The one thing I do notice is the SE sound system is rather flat so the SCV isnt as noticeable as it is with the Sony in my 10. Hoping the Sony in the Ti is as good as or better than the 10 is.

Noted. I tried once but was unable to get it to work. When in charge only mode it wouldn't play music but when it switches to disk mode it uses it like my flash drive. Another reason why I was curious about the iphone functionality.

That it unfortunate. I wanted the Ti mostly for the intelli-key and I would have enjoyed the upgraded stereo but ultimately I wanted the tan interior so I stuck with the SE.
