Undercoating. To Coat or not to coat.

I was wondering if anyone is undercoating their fusions. I live in the mountains of NC, and they use a bunch of salt. Wondering if undercoating it when I first get it would save me down the road with rust issues. I want to do what I can to preserve this baby, and was thinking that may help. Thanks, Steve

I live in Nebraska and do it on every vehicle. I'm very close to the auto industry so I usually only pay around $100... For rubberized undercoatings and then the waxy stuff that goes behind all of the panels to prevent rust from the inside out - I have never had a single rust bubble
