kiemco Report post Posted March 8, 2013 When I remote start my 2013 Fusion the AC comes on full blast. I have the auto temp set for heat but it does not come on until I turn the key on. Anybody else have this issue? Have a fix? Kiemco

neod192 Report post Posted March 8, 2013 Take it off auto temp and manually set the temp and setting you want at start up the next morning. That's not a fix, it's a work-around. Why would the A/C kick in when it's freezing outside? I think this is a problem that Ford needs to address. The point of auto is "auto" climate control at all times. The point of remote start is to warm up the car when it's cold out. This isn't working as expected.
majorleeslow Report post Posted August 21, 2013 in my old beater civic it used to do the same, ac turned on when you defrost. I think it's too quickly remove moisture from the inside as ac dries out the moisture.
