billford Report post Posted December 18, 2020 (edited) I found a simpler, quicker, cleaner way to fill the trans. First, remove the fill plug on the side of the transmission, the picture of the location has been posted previously in this thread. Next, there is a rubber breather hose about 2 inches long at the top of the transmission, its near the firewall. Its hard to see the first time, but its there. Just remove it and attach a 1/2 inch hose about 4 feet long to the fitting on the transmission. Attach a funnel to the other end of the hose. Fill the transmission through the funnel and hose until fluid comes out of the side filler plug. The transmission is now full. Reinstall the breather and filler plug. This method takes about 1/4 of the time compared to filling it through the side plug. Edited December 18, 2020 by billford Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
