acdii Report post Posted May 14, 2013 Well the good news is, it looks like they all come with the lower clips and since I still have a pair of them, all I would need is the net if I ever got another one.
hybridbear Report post Posted November 28, 2013 Our new white FFH has this issue. After spending a few minutes trying to figure out how to mount the cargo net I came here to search. Fastronaut Report post Posted November 28, 2013 (edited) Our new white FFH has this issue. After spending a few minutes trying to figure out how to mount the cargo net I came here to search. And low and behold, the Forum strikes again!!Glad it helped. I just had the dealer grab them off another inventory vehicle and order a replacement. My 2014 HyTi is en route so I will be curious to see if the clips came with it . If not, inventory beware :) Edited November 28, 2013 by Fastronaut 1 jeff_h reacted to this

If not, inventory beware :)I received a call back from the dealer this morning to let me know that they ordered the clips. I confirmed with them that the part number listed earlier in this thread is what they ordered. It was. Within the next few days they should arrive. smr2112 Report post Posted December 2, 2013 This is the part in case anybody else needs them.Looks like Ford forgot this for a bunch of cars early on and it doesn't come withthe cargo net itself. http://www.group1autoparts.com/oem-part/lincoln/side-trim-panel-nut-right/w716357-s900 1 hybridbear reacted to this

acdii Report post Posted December 17, 2013 Funny thing is, mine has the clips, but no net. Go figure. LOL
Fastronaut Report post Posted December 17, 2013 Before I picked up our 2014 HyTi, I called the dealer and told them to make sure I had a net and clips before I got there. They did -- no need to ask how ;).
hybridbear Report post Posted December 17, 2013 The net is now installed. I think it'll be very useful.
TonyHzNV Report post Posted December 30, 2014 LOL! I bought one of these luggage compartment nets for my 2014 FFH today. I had one in the garage from my (gas) 2012 Fusion, but it was much too tall for this car and only had "holding loops" at the top and none at the bottom. So I took it to my dealer's parts dept and asked to see the one for the 2014 hybrid. It was only about 3/4 as tall as my old one and had the "holding loops" at the top AND bottom and both ends were tapered inward from top to bottom unlike the one from my old car. So, I bought one. I checked my car for the retainer "knobs" before I went in and all 4 were there. Maybe Ford started putting them in all the 14's. I don't know. Anyway, the new net fits nicely and I thought about it because I used to use my old one a lot in the 2012. There was an instruction sheet (if you can call it that) in the package with the net, so I scanned it and added some information to it, like 2014 & 2015 MYs, and the Ford part numbers for the net and the "knobs". If you try looking up the "knobs" by part number on the Ford parts site, you have to ditch the dash (-) in the number or it won't be found. They call them Wing Nuts. Just my 2 cents again, but maybe someone will find it useful. Happy Hybriding! :)Fusion Cargo Net001.pdf 3 Hybrider, hybridbear and GrySql reacted to this
TonyHzNV Report post Posted December 30, 2014 Funny thing is, mine has the clips, but no net. Go figure. LOLJust in case anyone is interested, I paid $43.75 + Tax for the net at my local Ford Dealer. MSRP is $50.00.

As was mentioned in page 1 of this topic (and elsewhere), early 2013 builds with the cargo net from the factory were missing the needed knobs. Cars without the net didn't have the knobs, but rather just some plastic push-on covers for the threads. 1 GrySql reacted to this
