Toz Report post Posted March 1, 2013 I am hoping that the new HyTi owner give those of us who are still waiting for our build dates a good run down/overview/review when they get theirs to help tide us over till ours comes in. Yes I know there is only so much you can say about Sony radios, Ambient lighting and push button start, but dang it when you are starving a cracker is a feast! (and yes I know they will not start to arrive till later in the month) 1 fusionTX reacted to this

elle Report post Posted April 2, 2013 The one i ordered is currently in transit and should be arriving this week, if it has not already landed. I obviously am not in the market anymore, but hopefully others will be getting theirs this week as well.
pers69 Report post Posted April 2, 2013 (edited) I will have to content myself a bit longer vicariously partaking of their joy. My car, ordered in Nov, was built 3/22 - but was fortunate enough to spend some extra quality time in Hermosillo. The reasons will remain forever in obscurity. The good news is that it has left Mexico and entered the land of the free and the brave. Unforkinately, my train then suffered some type of breakdown, no doubt brought on by the realization that it was carrying MY car. My current ETA is 4/18. I think I have grown immensely given all the delayed gratification I have thus amassed. fsutrey Report post Posted April 3, 2013 Anyone want to comment on the possiblity of having the dealership swap out those ugly wheels on the titanium hybrid for better looking 18" ones? From what I was told, only certain aluminum alloyed wheels will work properly with the hybrid for the best fuel economy - but the SE rims are way better looking. I am not looking forward to having to buy new rims and having to put a duel exhaust in a brand new car that I expected to come standard with. Additionally, I did some research on maniulating the touch screen display to allow a full integration of an iPhone or iPad which will allow me to play full movies or stream TV shows (Sports Center, etc.) while the car is in drive. Should be a nice feature once my windows are tinted dark enough.

acdii Report post Posted April 4, 2013 I may not be getting the HyTi afterall. Just out of curiosity I asked what I can get a Flex for, and they came back with a good offer, so depending on what they come back tomorrow on financing, I may be getting a new Flex instead. Getting it for invoice pricing because they want to move it(good timing on my part?). Considering I already have a hybrid that is kicking butt in the MPG department, got 45 on the way home tonight, not bad for a car rated 39! :) I really dont need the HyTi, but in a few years when the 10 has been worn down to a nub, the HyTi will be first on the list to replace it. Really interesting to see how you guys like it when it finally arrives though.
TX NRG Report post Posted April 4, 2013 I may not be getting the HyTi afterall. ... I may be getting a new Flex instead. A new plot twist in your vehicle soap opera. Going back to a previous love, the Flex. I was wondering when you'd change your mind again!
acdii Report post Posted April 4, 2013 (edited) I haven't changed my mind, more like making up my mind. I have been pursuing used Flex/MKT, but the trade in numbers were way too low for me. That's really the only reason I haven't done it yet. All goes back to want vs Need. I WANT the HyTi, love driving the car, but what we really need is the Flex. It all depends on what I get for this car, I can only afford to loose a small part of my ass, need the rest to counter balance my fat belly. It all boils down to one thing, had the new Fusion I purchased lived up to its promise and delivered at least 43 MPG consistently, as I was expecting, there would be no question that I would keep it and not be looking for a different vehicle. Since I already have a 2010 FFH that is doing very well in that department, where now it is starting to get 40+ consistently, which is great since its above its highway rating, and I do at least 85% highway, I am quite pleased with the car. I let the great looks and driving of the car get the better of me and had I not purchased it, I would not have met a great bunch of people on this forum, so at least some good came of it! I also learned a better driving style with the new Fusion that is making it easier to maintain high MPG in the 2010. I really am envious of everyone who has the new Fusion and are doing well with them, and I wish everyone who has one and is getting one well in their purchase. The Fusion is a wonderful car, yeah I know I let my anger get the better of me way back when I called mine a POS, but it is a great driving car, mine just has an issue that cant be found, but overall it drive great, handles great, and is very comfortable and one of the best looking cars on the road. In a few years when my 2010 is getting long in the tooth, and HyTi's are more readily available, I will own one again, count on it. Toz Report post Posted April 12, 2013 So I was wondering, now that a few people actualy have their HyTi's, what is the difference between the leather seats in the SE and HyTi? or is there no difference at all?

steveo358 Report post Posted April 12, 2013 So I was wondering, now that a few people actualy have their HyTi's, what is the difference between the leather seats in the SE and HyTi? or is there no difference at all? The Titanium seats are a sport type seat. The sides come up slightly , to hold you in place. The other seats are flat across, and they have a different stitch pattern in the titanium seats. I sat in both at the dealership, and I liked the titanium seats much better. That's my 2 cents worth. 1 Toz reacted to this
acdii Report post Posted April 13, 2013 What about the quality, are they the same type leather? The leather on the Flex between the Limited and Titanium Limited is different, softer in the Ti.
