Am I doing ok on this price. About to pull the trigger

Recommended Posts

Hi guys, I have been all over this forum, and a huge amount of info on here. You guys have convinced me to go with the ACC after all the rave about it. So heres where I am . 2013 Fusion Titanium hybrid. Either ice storm or ingot silver, ACC NAV and all weather mats. Out the door North Carolina price, tax tags doc, everything 33,665.74 . thats including the 500 rebate. Is that where I need to be? I have done extensive search and that's the best I can get. Would also like to hear preferences between those 2 colors. Wife doesn't like what I want, and I don't like what she wants. Weve agreed between those 2. Thanks, Steve

I, hopefully will get my price this afternoon or tomorrow. Mine will be Black on Black Titanium, with Voice Nav, and Driver assist package. The only other thing I could get was the adaptable cruise (which I don't want) so she is pretty loaded.

The best price so far has been 33700.00 but I will beat that this PM (should). So yours looks about right, maybe a little on the low side :)

Couldnt tell, I would get what you got plus the drivers tech package. That adds $1000 to the price. I cringe when I hear silver. Such a common color these days. I have the oddball Deep Impact Blue. My Flex was Cinnamon, and the F150 Bronze. The 2010 is Atlantis Green. Strange thing, and maybe why I dont like silver, every Toyota we had was silver, the only color available.

Yea, I wanted the deep impact blue also, wife shot me down. The ice storm is pretty, but kind of mellow. I think that's why she wants it.

Ice is nice, better than Silver, although Ford silver is much brighter than Toyota's. If I had to choose between the two, the Ice would be the one. It's still blue, so you half win!

steveo, I just priced this for you with X-plan. It comes out to $32,882, which includes the destination charge of $795, but doesn't include the $500 rebate. Add your taxes, tags, docs and take out the $500 rebate. I think your out the door price might actually be better than X-plan, which is great!

On kbb.com your configuration comes out like this

  • MSRP $34,860
  • Fair Purchase Price $33,441 (I believe this price doesn't include taxes, tags or doc fees)
  • Dealer Invoice $32,165

That site will show you the msrp for each option and the invoice for each option. I'm not sure if that's really the invoice or what the manufacturer wants you to think the invoice is.

There is also the dealer holdback which is something like 3 or 4% of the purchase price.
