So now that I've established the benchmark of over 53 MPG with the first tank, I promised my wife that I would let her drive it once I had the fill up. She has already driven it a few times, and today I let her drive it to work.... after she dropped my youngest off to school, he informed me that "Mom only got 84% on most of her brake scores, and she is not using the battery at all"..

Sounds like my wife's Escape Hybrid from a few years ago, I would average 31 MPG when driving it, she would get 25 (or less). Doesn't matter what vehicle it is, she turns it into an SAV (Starbucks Assault Vehicle) and doesn't much care about the MPG when going around town, I guess that's my job to bring the MPG back up whenever I drive it.
