I'm wondering if my email to Lincoln complaining about the loss of differentiation between the options for the MKZ and the Fusion had anything to do with it? Things that make you go... hmmmm. :hysterical:

There are top quality aircraft cushions available from Oregon Aero:

They come in a varity of colors so they'll also work for the Titanium. Not cheap, but is that a factor in keeping the little woman happy?

Anyone have the avail. Date/timeframe for the 10-Way passenger seat availability. I've been able to confirm its coming to the 2014 Fusion (Titanium for sure, but if Fordis smart about it, they'll offer it to SE models too so they don't grab bad press about shutting out the majority of their buyers, which buy a lot more SE models. So, in addition to avoiding bad press, they can sell more of them too.) This is the only reason I have not bought the Fusion is the low sitting non-height adjustable passenger front seat (really poor planning by the engineers for the 2013 redesign).

The 2014's are already starting to show up on dealer lots, but 'late availability' on the passenger seat 'fix' (10-way front passenger seat), I don't know exactly when 'late availability' is. Honestly, they really don't need to offer the whole 10-way, it's nice, but all that's lacking is height adjustment of passenger seat. so, a non power height adjustable version would be a good alternative too, but I have only seen and confirmed their is a 10-way electric front passenger seat coming to Titanium build as an option (part No. 46B).

Ford told me yesterday that the 2014 SE will not have the 10-way seat for the passenger. Seascape is right, they are disappointing a significant number of potential buyers. All they need to offer is a manual height adjustment. In most cases, it would only be adjusted once and then kept in that position.

for some reason the "10 Way" option is tied to the Cooled seat option. Only on the Titanium. The good news is that you should be able to buy the base for the seat later in the year as a replacment part.

But you won't be able to get it with Dune leather, so that is not an option for many of us.

I don't even have my Fusion yet. Is the motorized base of the seat, and the rest of the seat all one piece? I had just assumed that seat bolts onto the base. If that is not the case then I guess you are correct. Not an option. Bummer

Is the Dune interior even offered any longer?

The Interior color options are the same for 2014 except for the Brick Red they've added for the Titanium. Being from the class of '59, you'd probably like that. The interior leather color options are very high on my list of car buying priorities. If Charcoal or Red were my only choices, I would have passed on the FFH and been a Santa Fe Sport owner right now. I'm so glad that didn't happen.

Even though you cant see it on the Ford website, the 14's have "Medium Soft Ceramic" (Grey) as a interior color choice as well

I'll bet you can just take the skin and cushion from your existing seat and put it on the base of the 10 Way seat. In fact I bet the Luxury cushion and skin will work just fine on the Ti seat, which is what I plan to do next year.

I called ford and they described Medium Soft Ceramic as "Off White". I'm searching for an accurate color photo.

It sounds like it may be very close to Honda's Ivory interior, which would be very nice. I think this option will result in a lot more Titanium sales.

The 10-way passenger seat is now available. It comes with the Heated and Cooled seat option ($465) on the Titanium trim, and can be ordered in Soft Ceramic. These options, however, do not currently show up on the Ford web site. Maybe Ford has been listening to us.

I didn't realize it was available, but I did get it on a 2014 HyTi received earlier this week.
